To help our game get more people playing the game we decided to upload the game to an online gaming website called GameJolt, we believed this would be a good idea so we could get more feedback for the game as people often comment on the website saying what they like and dislike about a game.
I believe it was a good idea to post the game on a website as although we didn’t get many comments we still got likes, followers as well as a 5/5 rating, this was useful in determining if people liked the game or not, I would consider doing this again if I were to do a similar topic as because its with strangers over the internet they are more likely to be honest and say if they dislike the game and why which is very useful in developing the game. Next time however I would post the game earlier so we could get more feedback on the game, I would also post it on more than one website such as itch.io which is another gaming website, this would have allowed us to get more views and feedback for our game which could have been useful in the games development.
